Thank you very much in your interest in supporting CI, Inc.

CI, Inc. operates two children’s shelters: New Hope for boys, and Hope’s Haven for girls.  These homes provide shelter care and supervision that are appropriate for children requiring emergency placement and short term care while working towards permanency of placement.  As these children often endure a painful childhood, a caring, structured, family-oriented environment is implemented at our shelters in an effort to heal the pain and create a sense of normalcy.  CI, Inc.’s shelter programs have proven to be an invaluable service to the community as the children we serve thrive, flourish and lead a productive life instead of delinquency.

To further the effort for the continuum of care, CI, Inc., in collaboration with other shelters, provide services to victims of domestic violence and their children.  Transitions ~ A Woman’s Journey to Change, provides a temporary, secure home for these families as they transition into their new lives.  Counseling and life management skills are the primary services provided that enhance the women's ability to function independently.

“It takes a village to raise a child.”  This African proverb has skillfully summed up the importance of community support in providing effective programs and services.  CI, Inc. greatly appreciates your financial support and donations.  Donations to CI, Inc., a tax exempt non-profit social service agency under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, are tax deductible.  For more information, please access this link.

Please contact Melissa Jenkins-Simon at 602-495-1432 or ci.inc2@att.net to make a donation.  Upon receipt of your donation, CI, Inc. will mail your acknowledgement letter to use for filing your tax deduction.  Per Donor’s request, Special Name Fund can be created for financial donations that exceed 10K.  Corporate Donations are established individually to meet companies’ needs and requests.

The Valley of the Sun Community Diaper Bank collects diapers and incontinence products and distributes them to Valley social service agencies that help babies, people with disabilities and seniors. Diapers are a necessity, but they are not covered by Food Stamps, WIC or other “safety net” programs. You can help low income families by donating unopened packages of disposable diapers (any size) to the Valley Diaper Bank. To donate diapers or cash, or to find out about Valley Diaper Drive, call 602-253-0050 or visit: www.valleydiaperbank.org
